In exploration of the subtle intersections between the tangible and intangible, delicate nuances of the earth and its inhabitants, as well as what remains seemingly invisible, are unveiled.
Using a variety of materials, including paint, clay, printmaking, textiles, photography, video, and most recently, sound, each medium informs the next as intricate narratives emerge. These stories carry an esoteric undercurrent that brings quiet details of environmental anthropology and beyond into focus. They are approached with curiosity and a yearning to experience the threads that bind us.
This investigation of complex relationships of all kinds invites viewers to reflect on their own connections to each other and to the land they stand on.
