BFA in Painting and Drawing
In an exploration of the subtle intersections between the tangible and intangible, with an emphasis on the delicate balance found in the natural world, Pam Ellick’s work is guided by the nuances of the earth and its inhabitants, as well as all that we can not see. Using paint, chalk, crayon, clay, pencil, photography, video, metal, and most  recently experimenting with sound, her work embodies an intricate and specific narrative, tinged with an esoteric undertone. It reflects a contemplative observation of the world's quiet details, of human connection to one another, and of the land we lay on, all approached with curiosity and yearning to experience. Through her compositions and media exploration, she delves into the unseen threads that bind individuals, exploring the complexity of relationships of all kinds  with a subtley that invites viewers to reflect on their own connections.
